A Little bit about us...
We are the Trestle Valley Longshots, a new Long-Range Buffalo Gun Shooting Group located at the Minot Rifle and Pistol Club. We compete on the 4th Saturday of each month, with registration opening at 8:30 AM and shooting starting at 10 AM. You can make each meet even more fun by dressing up in Olde West-era clothing styles.

What is Long-Range Buffalo Gun Shooting?

Long-range buffalo gun shooting, sometimes called Quigley Shooting, is a competition where the emphasis is placed on precision shooting at long ranges (usually to 700 yards or more) using lever action and/or single shot rifles without the help of any modern technology.

We're heading into our fourth match of the season, and our shooters are getting better and better.

This month, we're hoping to have a little something extra before the shoot. Not only that, but there will be a photographer on scene to film and photograph the match for future advertizing. You're more than welcome to come on down to watch or join in.
